Warner Parks Of Nashville Project

Homestead Timber Frames will be building four timber frame pavilions for the Friends of Warner Parks in two phases in 2022-2023. These pavilions are in conjunction with a park land and river restoration project that helps restore riverbank integrity in the Edwin Warner Park area. The two shelters there will be removed, and we will be building the replacement pavilions for the park. Our team is always happy when we can give back and work with the wonderful people of the Warner Parks teams. Friends of Warner Parks is a not-for-profit organization that dedicates itself to the preservation, protection, and stewardship of Percy and Edwin Warner Parks. Check out their Friends of Warner Parks Website and their Friends of Warner Parks – It’s My Nature Campaign Page for more information on upcoming projects, and learn how you can do your part too! You can also check them out on their Friends of Warner Parks Facebook Page.

About “The Warner Parks” – Edwin & Percy Warner Parks

According to the Nashville Parks Department – Warner Parks Page, “Edwin and Percy Warner Parks, collectively known as “The Warner Parks,” are managed by the Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation Department. The Warner Parks are one of the largest municipally administered parks in Tennessee and together span more than 3,100 acres of forest and field, 9 miles from downtown Nashville. Close to a million people visit the Warner Parks annually to utilize the Nature Center, picnic shelters, dog park, scenic roadways and overlooks, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, equestrian center and horse trails, cross country running courses, golf courses, and athletic fields. Warner Parks is also an important historical community resource listed in the National Register of Historic Places.” For more fascinating history about Warner Parks, check out this History of Warner Parks Timeline found on the Friends of Warner Parks About Us page.
