Tim Dennis is a 2013 graduate of Tennessee Technological University, which included study at the Appalachian Center for Crafts where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in wood, and he enjoyed building incredible furniture. Tim draws his influence from furniture-making greats such as James Krenov, Wharton Esherick, Gustav Stickley, and many more. “I strive to find the perfect balance of aesthetic, placement, personality, and uniqueness when making custom furniture.”
Always looking for a challenge, Tim now turns his attention to the art of timber framing. He is proudly employed with Homestead Timber Frames laying out, cutting and putting together even larger pieces of beautiful wood. “Being able to fully immerse oneself in a piece of artwork is how I view timber framing,” Tim says. “It’s art that you can see from every angle and perspective, from the inside and out.”
